Constructors team completes first stage of key Bendigo industrial estate
Winslow Constructors’ Bendigo Region team recently completed the first stage of Invicta Industrial Estate, the regional Victorian city’s first greenfield industrial precinct of its scale in eight years.
Work on the first stage, a 35-lot industrial subdivision, involved the installation of three bridge culvert structures and more than 20,900m² of pavement, over 100,000m³ of cut-and-fill placement, and more than 5000 tonnes of asphalt.
Additionally, the project includes 1500m² of rock beaching and 1600m of drainage with depths reaching 3m, and includes 2500m sewer infrastructure, with depths of up to 4m, along with a new sewer pump station.
The 23ha estate is a collaborative effort with developer Hickory Group, which will ease Bendigo’s industrial land shortage.
