Winslow Queensland’s Infrastructure team recently completed works on the Caboolture Landfill Expansion Project.
Commissioned by the City of Moreton Bay, the project involved the construction of a new landfill waste cell, a high-efficiency sediment basin, a concrete-lined forebay, and associated infrastructure representing a vital investment in the region’s long-term waste management strategy.
Winslow was the principal contractor to deliver the construction of Cell 4 and the High Efficiency Sediment (HES) Dam at the Caboolture Waste Management Facility.
Winslow’s scope of works included bulk excavation, installation of leachate and groundwater management systems, liner systems, electrical works and commissioning activities.
Despite facing several logistical and environmental challenges, Winslow Queensland delivered the project through adaptive planning, robust environmental controls, and strong collaboration with the client and stakeholders.
