Golf Day chips in for Our Kids in hospital
Winslow Queensland recently hosted a charity golf day to raise funds for Our Kids, which aims to improve the health services for children in the Northern Rivers area by purchasing paediatric equipment for the Lismore Base Hospital, Tweed Valley Hospital, Grafton Hospital and the surrounding satellite Northern Rivers hospitals.
The event, which was held at Royal Pines Resort Golf Club on the Gold Coast, raised an impressive $107,315.
“Thank you to everyone who supported the event and donated to this important cause that will help families stay local if their children need medical care,” said Winslow Queensland Regional Manager Anthony Rosario. “We are determined to make the communities we work in a better place.”
The following was approved to purchase from funds raised at the Winslow Golf Day:
- 3 monitors with central station provisions at $18,300, totalling $54,900
- 1 Ocra Bathtub $5060
- 3 Seca Scale 286 at $4100, totalling $12,300
- 1 Realiti Plus System $14,729
- 1 Biers block machine $15,638.70
- 1 Astodia Diaphanoscope, $2812.80
