Located in Keilor Downs amongst a busy shopping centre and homes from the 80’s, Baptcare Housing Development Keilor project is part of Victoria’s Big Housing Build. Winslow's capability and commitment to quality played a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of this community focused project, which aims to provide accessible and affordable homes for Victorians.

Key Achievements

The Winslow team involved in this project successfully navigated several complexities, particularly within the electrical scope of works. A key challenge surfaced when the high-voltage connection point was discovered in the front yard of a residential property, requiring a major design change and a prolonged approval process with the power authority. However, this did not hinder the progress of the project as Winslow proactively discovered and raised this issued early on in the project and continued with completing the internal works. The 257-linear-metre external electrical line was installed by methods of boring around the high concentration of existing underground services in the area.
