Winslow has successfully completed the Gordon Road and Ferny Way Intersection Upgrade for City of Moreton Bay. The upgrade was completed to accommodate traffic growth and improve safety for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.
The upgrade includes:
installation of traffic signals
additional traffic lanes to separate through-traffic and turning traffic
signalised pedestrian crossings at the intersection
reconstructed footpaths and a new shared cycle and footpath linking Samford Road and Gordon Road
additional landscaping and street lighting
fauna crossings for the safe movement of wildlife around the intersection
